Maybe your life looks nothing like you thought it would.
You know how to survive. But you’re ready to feel like yourself again.
Maybe divorce changed everything.
Maybe grief took someone you loved.
Maybe your children grew up, your marriage ended, or the identity you carried for years no longer fits the life in front of you.
You still love God—but some days you feel angry, ashamed, overwhelmed, or unsure of where He is in any of this.
You keep functioning because people depend on you.
But underneath the brave face, you’re exhausted from trying to hold everything together.
Resilience Rising was written for this version of you.
Not to rush you past what happened.
Not to hand you a motivational quote and tell you to think positively.
But to help you rebuild your identity through Christ, renew the thoughts keeping you stuck, and begin moving forward through small, faithful rhythms.
— ABOUT THE BOOK —
This is more than a book about getting through something hard.
It’s about who you become as you rise.
After walking through two divorces, financial uncertainty, anxiety, and profound loss, Leah Deen knows what it feels like to have life knock you down—and to wonder whether you have the strength to stand again.
She also knows that rebuilding doesn’t happen all at once.
It happens through the small decisions you make when the entire staircase feels too heavy.
Through personal stories, biblical truth, practical reflection, and the foundations behind Leah’s E.A.G.L.E. Method™, Resilience Rising will help you separate your identity from what happened to you and begin rebuilding from the inside out.
Because divorce may be part of your story.
Loss may have changed your life.
But neither gets the final word on who you are or what God can still do through you.

— FROM MY HEART TO YOURS —
I wrote this for the woman wondering who she is now.
There was a season when I looked like I had everything together on the outside—but inside, I was falling apart.
I walked into classrooms exhausted after sleepless nights. I lived through anxiety, court battles, financial uncertainty, and days when getting off the couch felt almost impossible.
After my first divorce, I had to rebuild nearly every part of my life.
But I had not yet rebuilt me.
I carried wounds, bitterness, shame, and beliefs about myself into another marriage. When that marriage ended, I had to face what I had avoided:
The things we don’t heal don’t simply disappear.
Then my mom was diagnosed with cancer.
In the final months of her life, I watched her continue to pray, read her Bible, love people, and choose joy. She never pretended it was easy. She simply trusted that God would walk with her through it.
Watching her changed me.
It showed me that resilience isn’t denying the hard thing.
It is knowing where to return when the hard thing knocks you down.
I wrote Resilience Rising because women need more than instructions for rebuilding their finances, homes, and schedules after divorce. We need help rebuilding the woman underneath it all.
I want you to know that you are still loved.
Still lovable.
Still worthy.
And still capable of becoming someone you are proud to be.
You do not have to see the entire staircase today.
Let’s begin with the next faithful step.
